Limescale filter

We live in a hard water area and currently use the Brita filter water jug for making tea, but they are getting quite expensive now lasting only about 3 weeks.

Is there a inline filter that provides better performance just for a drinking tap only?

Hope you mean the filters are only lasting 3 weeks not the jugs!
