Hi All

I live in a detached house and want to do a two storey rear extension. My house is set back from the neighbours and the architect has said that there is a planning policy which means that is breaks the line of sight as shown on the site plans. Therefore they are proposing only two storey part way along, hence having a weird corner cut off. I cant find anything anywhere to give me more guidance on this. Can anyone advise please?

You will need to ask your architect in the first instance as each Local Authority uses different guidance by which to determine a panning application and uses variable guidance as to right to light etc. But repost with more info in the Planning Section. And you'll prolly not get a great response until after Xmas.
