Looking for some advice, as keep getting conflicting info & know nothing about heating systems.
We have a combi boiler, but want to install a solid fuel rayburn and use it to heat radiators in the winter months, and use the existing combi in the summer, when the rayburn isnt on.
Is is possible? One guy said yea, and told us the systems can be valved off so they run independently, but are never combined, another said nay, as the systems arent compatible, and said we could only do it by installing an emersion heater, or by running the heating just on the rayburn & hot water on the combi
- some advice would be really appreciated, thanks
