Hi all,
Just had a new kitchen done, when the old floor tiles were removed it was a right dog, so self level was put down to get a nice even surface. I now need to lay down the floor tiles.
I have two questions if you don't mind.
1. With the self level, this has added a few mm depth, with the tile I'm going for (9mm thick), plus the adhesive I'll be needing a lip transition, any ideas for doing this cleanly please?
I really don't want to fudge the wooden flooring so an looking for some sort of trim if possible? Welcome your advice.
2. The tiles are 120cm x 23cm wood effect tiles, where should my centre point be and where should I start from?
I've laid tiles in the past on basic square shape floors and using regular sized tile shapes, nothing like this so want it to look right.
Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you
