Ive just put a latex self levelling compound down and painted liquid dpm on top of it. Now ive herad ive done this the wrong way round as the wood adhesive Laybond L16 wont adhere to the dpm as its like glass, is this true or do i need to add a primer or re self level agin..plss help

Yes, you will have to self level again, but you probably would have had to self level first anyway, as this will have helped the DPM go further.

No you do not necessarily have to re-level the floor. If you do put another level on top of the DPM how will it stick? With the Epoxy resin type DPM (the ones that go like glass) they have to have grit spread in them for a levelling compound to stick. (Some use a primer)

The first question is "was the latex used moisture tolerant". If you DPM over the top of a non moisture tolerant levelling compound it will (if there is moisture around) soon break down. If you have, you should remove every thing and start again before putting a lot of time and money into the flooring above.

If the Latex was moisture tolerant, you can stick to epoxy DPM's using Silaine adhesives like Bona R850 or Laybond L19
