If a shower is put into a utility room, which has existing socket outlets for the washer and dryer, and the shower falls within the 3m exclsuion zone for sockets, is it right to say that no electrical work can be carried out in the room until current regs, ie no sockets within 3m of shower cubicile, are met?
Does the shower having solid walls, with the washer and dryer to the side of it, make a difference?
