In my house Double pole cooker control switch is installed directly above the induction heater(250mm above). Did I get approval for my wiring from Electricity authority. Is there any IEE or BS standards regarding this for proving this. .................Please help...................

I dunno if there is any specific reg prohibiting it. However BS7671 (also known as the IEE wiring regs) requires "good workmanship" and "equipment to be suitable for it's environment". A cooker control unit mounted directly above a HOB IMO breaches both of those.

P.S. are you really in the UAE? and if so why are you asking about british standards.

In Dubai-UAE, DEWA(Dubai Electricity and Water Autority) follows BS standerds.
