Hi, a pretty rookie question I know but is it possible to over-loosen a corner lockshield, such as the one shown below, to the point the screw comes out and causes water to escape? Many thanks in advance

Are you turning the nut ? you shouldnt be, there is an allen key part in the middle you turn that not the nut
