I am just about to start laying some loft boards to use as storage,, however i have hit a snag:
The current joists are 10cm, but the rockwool insulation if approx 30cm, ie 20cm above the joists
Am i best to cross baton to bring the level of the floor above the insulation, or compress the insulation under the boards. If i do the latter, will this affect the insulation properties or cause a airflow/condensation problem?
