Loft conversion insulation

Hiya,

Having aloft conversion done, the plans do not show any insulation between 1st floor and 3rd floor rooms except at eaves. How much insulation should there be between the floors?

Your post makes little sense. Surely in between a 1st and 3rd floor there would be a 2nd floor?

apologies, yes its between 2nd and 3rd floor.

OK for fire resistance. What is the ceiling type: PB or lathe and plaster? What thickness/type are the floor boards?
