Hi I want to board the middle part of my loft in a new home which has W truss fitted, so maybe 3m v 8m for light storage. I have used the 3 pack of 1.2m loft boards before which are chipboard, but have found some light boards called stryoloft which seem good as very lightweight. I contacted them and they said the 18mm boards are good enough for light foot fall. Looks like about £7 a board but as its only a small are it may work out ok.
The only other option other than chipboard again is to maybe use larger sheets of wood to save time so I can put down a bigger sheet at a time, but what is the minimium thickness I need, not worried about insulation more to keep the weight of flooring down.
Thanks
