you could get into trouble for unautorised building works.
if it is purely for storage and its not for use as a bedroom/playroom/hobbyroom/study etc it may not be so bad.
Are the new 6x2" onto loadbearing walls for sure (ie they have foundations)
practically - although youve left a 50mm gap over the insulation the ventilation to a normal cold roof space is about 1/3 rd of what is needed for room in the roof type construction which just has a 50mm air gap (as you have)
a room in the roof would need ridge ventilation = 5000mm2/m and soffit ventilation = 25000mm2/m so condensation will be a risk.
