Loft space damp report

Received a telephone call from a company offering to do a free report on damp in the roof space and talking about the health risks of fibreglass insulation. Not sure exactly what they do ,something to do with government green scheme. They said it was advisable to have a report done ( I told them I had 300mm of fibreglass and Rockwool quilt insulation in the roof space with eaves ventilation and air bricks in gable walls ) while it was free as it would become compulsory in about 2020 and it would no longer be free .
Does anybody know what all this is about ? I think they said the company is YourhomeUK.org.

Smells like a scam of some sort?? possibly by a pushy "Specialist" insulation Installation Company?

I thought it sounded like a load of bull but I couldn't figure out what they were actually pushing if you agreed to have a damp report done.

Could be that this Company is looking to see if condensation has / is occurring in heavily Insulated loft spaces??

Given your description in your loft that should be next to impossible.

Must say the reply [above] by foxhole appears to sum up this [wish he did not sit on the fence on this??]
