Lofts - Which Flooring

Hello all , im a very inexperianced DIYer and i am currently insulating my attic space and would also like to overboard some of the attic as well.

My intention is just to board over some of the space for storage - it isnt going to be used that often -

Im looking for the cheapest but safest wood to use so i dont fall through - any ideas >

Chip board should do nicely. Good luck!

you can even get "packs" of chip board "just for lofts"

Just wanted to say thanks for the chipboard suggestion , spent a delightful Sunday with no daylight insulating and boarding the attic.

Decided to go for the full on 8 x 2 chipboard which looked a real treat hanging out the back of my little Ford Ka.

Anyway thanks for the suggestions on this fantastic forum.
