log splitter bleeding

Hi all , my electic 5t log splitter had a leak from the pump to the ram like manifold housing so replaced this , but on trying it , it works but has no or very little pressure i refilled with and has no leaks ,
any help welcome
just thinking it may have air in it , i have undone the air valve and operated it a few times but it still has little pressure.

Just a recap , took the new part off , put the old part back on and hey presto it works albeit leaking, guessing there might be something off withh the bore , anyone else had this problem ?
