At last, a One+ multi-tool.

It should have quite a bit of power being 18v and could last a long time on a lithium 2.4 Ah battery.

Might be a bit more awkward to hold, than say the Bosch cordless though

Interestingly, it will come with an adapter to allow various makes of blade to be used

ooooo b u 6 6 e r i have already got 2x bosch blue 10.8v :D :D :D

i cant let ryobi down or can i
any idea off price i am assuming the £80 naked ??

I have the bosch version and it is becoming more and more use full with all the different blades. its good to cut the new pvc facias and guttering in situ if you must because they oscilate rather than a spinning blade a lot safer the 18 volt should have more power but I dont have any experience with ryobi

oooohhhh Can wait to get my hands on one of these, as I'm now a Ryobi convert as two months ago I had no real power tools for DIY apart from a Wickes 12v Drill/Driver & a B&Q Chop saw, but now I have Ryobi Jig saw, Hammer drill, Planer, 90 degree Drill/Driver, Chalk gun, Circular saw all 18v & a 1/2 inch Router plus a 6 port maintenance charge

If you already have some Bosch 10.8 tools and batteries, then the cheapest place for a bare Bosch blue GOP is power-tools-pro £43 plus vat

Yeah I've got quite a bit of bosch 10.8V stuff.

I saw them in screwedfux for about £110 just for the bare bones

i love this company and they will usually throw in the free ruler you only get with kits if you ask them lol

i wont be parting with my bosh 10.8 as i have drill' angle drill 2 speed with chuck driver 'torch 'recip saw' gop cutter' impact 'all in one small box lol with 5 batteries 2 bit boxes and charger

i also have the old style single hex drive driver hanging in with the second gop for easy access in the workshop with a charger and battery each

must admit that i'm a fan as well now, brought a drill set from bodge's diyshed to get me out of trouble last october, in december/january we did a canal lock renovation replacing the gate timbers (2"x9" planks 3metres long) we had to drill 8 holes per plank into greenheart for the nails. the drill was put under considerable pressure for several days.
then it got knocked off the gate :( under water for 2 weeks, we recovered it, dismantled, washed in warm water, and then put in the airing cupboard to dry out, reassembled and still works to this day!

Hmm interesting...will the blades be cheaper than Bosch ones, and will they fit a GOP?

funny enough battery tools are ok with water as long as you dry them
water wont do to much damage without air or impuritys to corrode or conduct power to cause problems
voltages below 24v just don't have the dangers that mains do
