Looking at changing my thermostat, advice please!

Hi guys, I'm looking to change my existing RTS1 thermostat, Which one is ideal to replace it without any extra wiring if poss? Is it better to go Digital or should I go the Hive route, I'm looking to set a maximum on the upper temperature as my kids like to roast at 25degrees lol, I had the old RTS1 set to around 21degrees, this worked well until the clip broke so I thought instead of changing the stat to the same, I found this site and thought hey why not go digital.

Honeywell DT90.

You can set the maximum and minimum temperatures that the kids can adjust it too.

If you're clever, you can make it say 25 degrees when it is actually 22.

Good value too.

Evohome yes. The same features as the DT90, but down to room level.

Depends how far you want to go - but Evo is a fully modular system so you can start simple and upgrade later.

Oh right, I thought it was the case of replacing the control upstairs with the receiver (Hive) connecting the hub and stat and then setting up an account via the app or thats what I had thought anyway.

How simple it is depends on what system you have and what is changed where.

DT90 is swapping two wires and making a thirds safe.

Ok, I'm here to gain advice, I can only go by what I have read upto now hence why I'm asking on here where I hoped people would be able to advise otherwise, thanks anyway.

We've had Hive for a while now, no problems with it and simple to operate from phone app etc.

I have chance of a V1 Hive kit, previously installed now no longer needed, is it possible that it can be used in a different address/account ? It's the set, stat, hub and receiver!

I understand the forum seems against Hive, all I'm looking for at the mo is a bit of control of the heating when we're out and on the way home etc! I can't afford to go the route previously stated on the thread at the mo!
