Hex nut. With high torque holes in side - not for turning, but more for holding while turning the bolt.

Imagine the bolt is in a small place where only a metal rod can hold the nut so it doesn't spin while turning bolt.

I see high torque circle thumb nuts, but I want a hex.

Is there a name for this?
If not can I get this fabricated? Where (usa only)

Thanksssss!!

Why not saw a slot across the hex, then run the bolt through a few times to clean up the thread.....you can then use a screwdriver to lock the hex enough to allow you to tighten up.

Or drill a hole (or several) in a standard nut? You don't say what it's for, or how big the nut is, but the usual solution to this is either a captive nut of some sort, or a tapped (threaded) hole if the material is thick enough. Not really much help if that's what you're stuck with though.
