My daughter wanted Hive heating for her flat (combi boiler) so got a Single channel receiver and Thermostat & hub. Wired it all in and it fired the boiler but didn't heat the radiators- turned out there are 2 heating zones. Am i right in thinking i need another receiver and thermostat.

What would be the best way to wire all of this up. Thanks in advance

yes you need two thermostats and two receivers but only one hub, the receivers are wired to the zone valves not the boiler and the valves control the boiler , you will need to reverse the wiring change you made when you wired the hive direct to the boiler

Yeah, had to put the system back to what she had before, so will be starting from scratch again lol. Couldn't find anything on the search for it but i was searching for dual zone not multizone- my bad. Just seen a post that i basically use the 2 common and NO connections from the existing thermostats to each receiver and supply power, that sound about right?

Thanks for the quick reply(y)

no you need to remove the old thermostats or they will interfere with the hive, you can simply link them out if you want to, when you fit the receivers, link L&1 Then the brown wire from the corrosponding zone valve goes to 3 on the hive, leave everything else as is
