Looking for unusual size mortice latch

I need to replace a mortice latch - I'm hoping to find one that will simply slot into the existing hole. But the size doesn't seem to match anything I can lay my hands on.

The existing latch is 2.5 inches (64mm) deep, 1.5 inches (33mm) high, with a backset of 2 inches (51mm). I presume it was a standard size at one time... but I can't find anything (online) to fit.

I'd be grateful for any ideas...
