Looking to buy ZANUSSI ZWG1140M £219 from Comet

Would this be a decent buy ?

My Hotpoint is making a horrendous noise at spin and is now starting to smell a bit like burning rubber.

That's the one I ended up going for, bought mine about a week ago.

My old Candy also made a nasty noise and smelt of burning rubber, infact it burnt all the seal around the front!


Anyway the Zanussi seems to be a good washer, much better than the old machine it replaced. Can't really think of anything bad to say.

I've got to admit to not using it much myself but when I was setting it up I did notice you could only put 3kg (half load) in for the quick wash (24mins) but to be honest it isn't much of a problem and I think my wife has used it a few times on that setting.

It's quieter than our old one, but noise isn't much of an issue for us as the utility room is in the back of the garage behind a double glazed door. I'm sure it's not the quietest ever.
