Ring the manufacturer. It could just be that the seal is out of sight beneath the bead but nevertheless I wouldn't expect it to be loose, the glass will still rattle every time the door's closed. Even assuming there is a seal that will expand if smoke touches it (not sure it will unless the smoke is pretty hot). Is it and FD30 or and FD30S? Assuming it is a fire door it would have a label on the top or side showing its certification.
