I've seen the first episode and a bit of the second, and am intrigued, in a "cheap television" kinda way. Although it was far from cheap to make!

The plane cost them well over 100K!

I am mystified right from the start - why is there a polar bear on a pacific island?

Why is there a distress signal on the island that has been playing over and over for 16+ years? (although that's a bit far-fetched - how is it powering itself?)

There are US websites devoted to people's theories about Lost - some say the whole cast are dead and in purgatory, others say they are actually on an alien craft.....

What do you think?

Unfortunately the curse of DIYnot struck for me - I noticed they were re-running the first two episodes (I haven't seen any of it before), and pledged to sit and watch it.

Then, with one eye on the TV and the other engaged in discussion on here, I lost (pun not intended) concentration and still don't have a clue what it's all about! I did notice the lead character is quite dishy though....

Still, no doubt there will be a DVD box set to buy at some point and watch at leisure!

I watched the first ones, though I hadn't really read up on it before hand and so didn't realise it would have a surreal edge to it. Its always hard to tell from first episodes, as they are still laying out the stall a bit, but I think I'm going to like it.

Be careful with the US websites though, as they have some plot spoilers on (for us, anyway) - I saw one that had unlimited free epsiode download too, just in case you miss any...

I believe that "Lost" will will be another where they put in riddles an answer NONE..

Its in its second series in the States an there its still as weird an unexplained as an episode of our "Crossroads"..

I will try it a bit but I REALLY BELIEVE EVEN AT THE FINALE /END it will all be riddles ..

I loved "OZ" but that was so messed about by Ch4 it was hard to watch ,

btw the 1st 2 episodes of lost were cut by 3 mins,in a TV show thats a lot , I figare wait til the DVD bockset comes out , but I see last week the "SCUM " did a major Spoiler about the monsters in the forests the rotten bliar a*se lickers

Yeah sorry for any confusion.

I wanted to post a reply in the latest "Lost" thread, so pulled up this one from Summer to see what I wrote, then posted garbage in it.

Shall now post something sensible in the later thread...
