Hi everyone,
We’re new tenants in an apartment that has a Vaillant ecoTEC plus VUW 25/26CS/1-5 boiler responsible for water heating and the central heating system. We’ve noticed that every time the boiler starts heating, there is a loud banging or rattling noise. When this happens, the cover of the boiler is also visible rattling or vibrating briefly. Once the heating process is underway, the noise stops, and everything functions as expected. There are no error codes, the pressure is at a normal level, and we haven't had other issues with the boiler so far.
We’re unsure if this is normal behaviour for this model or if it’s something we should be concerned about. I’ve attached a video showing the noise at startup. Any advice or insight on whether this is normal or if we need to have it looked at would be greatly appreciated!
