Hi, I have a problem with my water pipes (I think)
Every day at the same time there is a loud rumbling from somewhere in the ceiling above my bathroom. It starts at the same time every day and last for 5 minutes. It isn't started by anything I do - it's early so often starts when I am still in bed. If I run a tap then the noise changes a bit. I thought it was the boiler, but if I turn the boiler off the noise still happens. The noise doesn't bother me but, because it's early, I worry it bothers the neighbours.
I rent and the landlord sent out the engineer last week andhe found nothing wrong and they threaten to get me to pay for the call out.
Any ideas what this is and what I can do?
