I had a hot water cylinder specially made to fit in a tight space. Annoyingly I didn't specify the size of the outlet and they put in a half inch thread. This means that I don't get a high enough flow for a descent shower.
I don't want to install a pump or go to the hassle of raising the height of the cold water tank in the loft (there's not much potential there anyway) and wondered if putting in a larger outlet with an essex flange might be an option? Could this work? Also, I have never fitted one of these before, so if anybody could point me to a page with instructions / a diagram it would be much appreciated...
I have an identical setup in another property, but with a 3/4 inch outlet from the cylinder and the flow is fine, so I know this would work if I had a wider outlet...
