Low-profile or Flush Door Handles for Deep Reveals

I have a pair of doors which open back against deep reveals. Fully open, ordinary handles would prevent the doors laying flush against the reveals. In fact they would make the doors stand quite proud of the reveals. So, I need flush or low-profile (12, maybe 18mm) door handles on that side of the door - the side which opens against the reveals. Anyone know of handles that take 8mm spindles and allow sufficient torque to turn a standard latch but have a low profile?

The doors may be fire doors.

Edit: sorry, the projection is listed as 46mm and requires a cut out for the spring mechanism

But beware, these may be unsuitable for use as a fire door set. Especially so if you needed to remove chunks of the door for a flush-fitting handle.
