Hi, currently browsing the net for a shower enclosure for our new extension, about 1200mm x 800mm.
All of the trays now seem to be the low profile type, but we are installing it onto a solid screed floor.
Is this at all possible (waste access) or is there an alternative we should be looking at?
Cheers

You can put the tray on a plinth to allow the waste pipe to exit at floor level.

If there's no waste nearby externally suitable for this height, you can have this water pumped away (sanifow do such a thing).

Or, you can dig up some of the screed (assuming it's a ground floor) to position the trap and waste pipe run - sounds much harder than it really is.
In fact, if you want, you could have a wet room floor using the same principle, thus having no step into the shower at all.

Depends on your actual situation, of which further details would be helpful if you want more precise advice.

there is no issue with fitting the low profile tray onto the screed floor, basically your plumber will just open the floor to route the waste pipe away from the shower, as dextrous has already pointed out you could use a tray with a plinth kit but sometimes these can be a liitle unsightly, however a slimline tray with a plinth kit isnt much higher than a standard height tray.
