Low voltage undercabinet kitchen lights

Hello,

I've just bought a set of 3 Aurora 12v, G4, 20W undercabinet lights + DAIS 60w transformer and have some installation questions.

1) can the transformer be located within a wall cabinet, or if it should be placed ontop of the unit?

2) is it best to hide/run the 12v wires from transformer to lights behind the wall units or can they be run and clipped within the cabinets?
