Hiya,
The water pressure at our house is incredibly low (and has been since we moved in a couple years ago). At our kitchen tap we get 4 litres per minute. If I plug a sprinkler in outside it 'sprays' about 2 inches.
I got Thames Water to come out and have a look at it and they measured the pressure at the outside stopcock and found the rate there was 25 litres/minute so they're saying it's an internal issue and nothing to do with them. The guy they send round said to try changing the internal stopcock as often that can fix things. I tried that this weekend but it made no difference.
Can anyone think of what else might be causing this and if there are any DIY fixes? I'd rather not call a plumber out as it'd probably cost a fortune and at the end of the day, this is an inconvenience rather than something that desperately needs fixing, so if it's going to be expensive, I'll just have to live with it.
Cheers
Pete
