Hi,

I have noticed over the last year or two my water pressure in the bathroom getting very low in the hot and cold, I think this may be dirt clogging the pipes. Is there a way of cleaning the pipes that are very old, for the radiator system you can use a cleaning liquid can you do the same for the tap water? does anyone know where to buy.

Thanks for your help

More likely to be something within the tap. - take apart.
Check the tank end - outlet holes not obstructed.
What are the pipes made of?

Hi,

I don't know what they are made of but can you put something down to clean them as I have seen this done on buidling sites on old piping but I don't know what they used. The house is about 45 years old and the pipes have not been updated except for inside the bathroom which were replaced about 5 years ago when bathroom was refitted.

Regards

Julian
