LPG gas cooker help!

We have a UK LPG cooker which we would like to install in our house in Brittany.

The cooker requires a 1/2 inch male screw fitting. Can anyone advise what the likely fittings are in France? I would assume they are metric?
The house in France has a large external Primagaz tank.

French fittings are usually metric but you will find 1/2 3/4 etc imperial fittings since these still seem to be standard for many appliances, for instance ch radiators, taps.

Browse the shelves of your local Catena, Brico Depot or Leroy Merlin etc.
