Hi all
I'm new to LPG, so you can treat me like an idiot
We've got a cooker with gas hobs / electric oven. We need to replace the flexible hose that links the gas bottle to the rigid (metal?) pipe. It's all outside. Maybe around a metre of hose. Probably less. Also the regulator is apparently a cheapy, so gonna have that replaced as well.
Just rung around for some quotes... It's coming in at £180 + VAT. Does that sound about right? I thought it would be a quick and simple job so expected much less. If there is more to the job than I realise, could anyone explain?
Does it have to be a registered LPG guy who does it? Could I do it myself with guidance? Is it a lot different to changing a bottle over?
Any help much appreciated. Can take pics if that would help.
Cheers
