Hi all,

I've somehow inherited a problem whilst working on a flat renovation... I've almost entirely rewired the flat during renovations but the customer also wanted a new handset for the intercom. The trouble is someone else removed the old handset so I've got no idea what wires go where... I've nipped up to the flat above to see how her phone is wired but it hasn't helped me out a whole lot but hopefully one of you knowledgeable lot will be able to decipher it.

I've got 'IROTZ' on the new one & from right to left on the old one it's '1, 2, 3, 4, 5 & 6'.

The original handset is a LT 608N and I've got a Bell 608 which as far as I'm aware is compatible.

Cheers!

Was all the wires connected in that flat ? As you may be stopping any handsets in the flats above from working ….it looks like it’s daisy chained to the next and so on …

Cheers. I did see this but the numberings on the original terminals don't quite marry up, I've got 1-6 without anything in 4 but that says T1, 1, 2, 3 & 6.

They do, I think, the strands are a different colour so I think there's a JB somewhere but I'm fairly sure they daisy chain up the building to the other 3 flats.
