I think the latest series of Luther was absolutely brilliant. Surely this has to be the best British drama to appear on tv for about twenty years. The direction was first class as was Idris Elba as the non pc detective. Much better than all the American cr*p they've been showing over the past few years.

Both seies 1 & 2 are soon to come out on DVD. Does anyone know if there was a pilot to series 1?

isnt the pilot usually episode 1, i downloaded the first series and watched about 2 of them and thought they were amazing, seriously entertaining TV

will re-watch the first series and then download series 2
