Hi,
I'm an MA Translations student having to translate a text on specific plumbing terms, I was wondering if any of you expert DIYers could help me by giving a definition of TAILS i.e. to do with taps etc. It would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
Appy ;)

It's the threaded part on the tap to which you screw the fitting that holds the pipe. Some taps are fitted with pieces of pipe which screw straight into the tap, these pipes are then the tails.

das ist ein wasser connector mit die klien nuts and der grossen swearing unt knuckle scrapen mit die spanner fitten! :D

LOL!!! Kendor Apfelsaft is a drink recognised in both Austria and Germany!!! It means Apple juice - don't ask!
David E, no I don't really fancy translating that, I'd be mentally scared too much by some of the graphic details!
Appy

Yes and very nice too i sampled it in austria in 1970 and wondered if it was just an austrian aperatif.
