Hi All,
Been trying to track down an ever increasing water bill, looking for leaks, dripping taps, etc. and think I've finally found the culprit.
The Macdee dual flush valve in our bathroom appears to be letting water by after it closes. If i press either of the two buttons, the valve opens normally, the water flushes and then the valve closes, all as you'd expect. The inlet valve opens and the cistern refills as normal.
However, after the flush valve appears to close, you can still see water running into the toilet for quite a while, I'm guessing consuming more water than it should and causing it to take longer to refill the cistern.
Is it a simple case of replacing the valve and/or seal where it connects to the outlet of the cistern, or is there a known simple issue/adjustment that will help?
