Machine not starting, no On/Off light

This Indesit W123 washing machine does not start and the 'ON' light does not show when the machine is switched on.

From the On/Off light, I traced the wiring terminations direct to the PCB as shown in the photo. The two black marks show the terminations on the PCB.

I am wondering if those wires are form part of the circuit which prevent the machine from staring. If so, where could I look on the PCB to find the culprit and is it possible to repair. All other components, checked, and gives a reading. Not worth buying a new PCB, so would try repairing. Any help, advice, much appreciated.

Have you checked for 230/240V to the machine before & after the suppressor ( the thing the mains lead connects to )?

Hi, Yes. There is voltage in and out at the suppressor.
