Magicbox home flip phone, only works on handsfree

Hi all, as above, have a Magicbox flip home phone, but one handset only works on handsfree; apparently, if you twist the phone, you can get ear contact, but at the risk of terminating the call. Anyone come across these phones? How to take apart/service manual?
