Main Combi 30 - No DHW

Hi all,

Today is dead on 12 months almost to the day the boiler was installed, and this morning no DHW. Turning the hot tap on runs cold, no sign of life on boiler, just sits in idle position.

Heating works perfect, not that I need it in this weather. Also tried DHW while heating is on, and still no difference.

The DHW demand light does not come on.

Any ideas at all?

Call the manufacturers it is still under warranty.

If it was installed by an approved main installer and registered it will have 2 years warranty.

Thank you very much, you were dead right, I thought it was not 12 months, but the installer was approved. They are coming out Wednesday.

Thank you for your help.

All fixed today, some dirt had damaged the valve in the hall effect sensor, replaced and working sweet.

You are lucky to have that dealt with be guaranty.

Its not the manufacturer's dirt and so technically a chargeable visit!

The installer should have been able to identify that problem. Perhaps he did not flush out the cold supply pipe? Or have the water mains been replaced or worked on?

No work has been done in the area, other than new gas main in the street since the install.

Happy to have hot water again, no more Kettle to have a shave
