We had this boiler fitted november 2009 it works absolutely fine. When we had a cold snap early 2010 we were getting a slight drip from below the boiler. We called the plumber out he told us this happens with condensing boilers and he said if your lucky the pipes wont freeze on you at the back of the boiler :!: :!:
Now here we are again in the depths of an average of -5 in the valley where we are living and its happening again, this time its dripping much more than last time but the weather is a lot colder i suppose.
Is this normal ?? I am sure if he told us this would happen we may have gone for a different boiler

Condensing boiler takes the heat from the exhaust gases and re-uses it to aid in the heating of the water. Within these gases there is water vapour, because the heat is taken from the water vapour, the water vapour condenses, hence being called a condensing boiler.

The cold weather just aids in the condensing of the water vapour so it may drip more.

Dripping below the boiler inside the house?

Do you mean the boiler leaks (well it is in Wales! :D )?
