Hi

I'm hoping for a bit of help, I have just received a nest thermostat e with heat link. I am trying to connect it to my main eco elite combi boiler. Currently I have a salus wireless control which runs on batteries and no wires going into the unit. On the boiler is a salus receiver that is wired internally. Can I just take the wires out of the receiver and put them in the heat link? I would not connect live and neural as my heat link uses batteries. I will attach pics if my setup and my heatlink which looks different than other setups on here

Hope I've explained that ok

Thanks

The wires in 3&4 on the Salus go to C&NO on the nest E doesnt matter which way round

Hi ianmcd

Thanks for that. That's what I was thinking. Do I need to unconnect the jumper on the control from 1 and 2?

You dont have to ,but if you want to do it you can but make sure you terminate them and insulate them properly

I Think I will leave them connected as I'm a novice and don't know how to terminate and insulate them if I do. Ok so I'm just going to take some general blue brown and earth wire and box connect them to the existing 3 and 4 wires and wire them into the heat link.

Thank you so much for your help it's really appreciated
