Hello all. We have a gas Glow worm 45-60, very old (sits on floor with a big pipe out the top to the chimney!) which has just had a problem.
We had a problem with the pilot light and sorted that by cleaning the area with a pastry brush - the flame wasn't reaching the thermocouple. Since has been OK for about a year but now the pilot light is fine, but the main flame doesn't ignite when turned on.
Everything is on - electicity, supply pipe, timer, thermostat - but no joy. I'm thinking it must be some kind of switch and am on the verge of getting a corgi plumber out but thought I'd see if anyone knew of the problem and had an easy DIY fix!
Heres hoping...!
