Main oven failure Zanussi/Electrolux ZCG7551XN gas oven 2006

I have a mate with one of the above, gas oven about 7 years old. Has 4 hobs, 2nd oven/grill and main oven. Has manual spark button for lighting hobs and 2nd oven, but the main oven is/was auto spark on low burn for the first few seconds after turning oven gas control on. To light the oven required mains power and timer set, as I understand it there is an automatic electrical gas control valve linked to auto provide the spark and shut off the gas in the event of the flame being extinguished.

Did the classic turkey fat overspilt the tray very early on Christmas Day morning, whilst roasting at gas mark 1. Fat/juice extinguished the flame and overflowed onto the floor and blew the 3A fuse in the plug. Cleaning oven out and replacing the plug fuse produced a spark/short behind cooker control panel. Had to get turkey roasted elsewhere.

Since then allthough the hobs, 2nd oven/grill, clock, manual sparker all work normally the main oven will not light, there is no gas to it, no auto spark there [there is manual spark], and no oven light.
Conclude that gas is not reaching the burner as cant hear it nor manually light it. Burner itself is now cleaned and clear, so is it this control valve? Cud it be replaced or needs a service engineer? Spark behing control panel?
Any answers or suggestions would be appreciated. If it is the control valve is that expensive?
