Hey what is the best way to carry out a mains flush on an old heating system before fitting all new radiators to it. Its an vented system with a header tank. So am wanting to flush the pipework only before the new radiators are fit. Thanks for any advice.

Easier with 2 people. You will need a long hose running outside. Turn the the water off. Drain the heating, remove rads and fit new valve bodies on the storks.then you will depending on set up s plan y plan you will need to remove the motorised valve. Cap the hw curcuit and cylinder return. Now you will have to make a reducer to fit the heating flow pipe. Cap the f&e now with one person controlling the filling the other can be going round opening the valves to flush the water through.
