Major noise after flushing toilet

All of a sudden my toilet has been making this horrendous groaning noise after its been flushed, like a grinding moan, its pretty loud and it needs stopped. What could this be ?

If its the bottom feed type on the right sometimes the noise can be cured by adjustment of the stabilising screw which bears on the casing of the tank.

I had one in an apaartment a few seconds after flushing it sounded like a ship horn !

Its just the diaphgram or washer in the float valve, you dont usually need to replace the whole thing parts what £2 !
