I want to make 4 concrete bollards.
These will go on the boundary of my property to stop cars driving over the flower beds.
I have found a small bucket that will do for the form.
I intend mixing sharp sand & cement 5:1 & tipping in the bucket, let it set & tip out.
My question is will I be able to tip out & is what I am suggesting the way to do it.
I will paint white when dry.

A small bucket?
You're not planning on setting this into the ground then

Sharp sand will crumble as soon as the first dog ****es on them

You need to coat the mould/bucket with release oil

It will tip out of the plastic bucket but the finished product probably won't last very long in the winter.
Proper concrete bollards are made under factory conditions, with vibration- and curing equipment, which you won't have.

Wow...bollards made from a bucket mould, that is gonna look really classy  i bet your neighbors will love you

Get yourself some fence posts.

Or better still put up a small picket fence.
There is only about 18" so no room for fence, but fence post might work at another part of front I put conduit in & put white plastic waste pipe on it.

Dick..If you got nothing to say, then don't try & be a smart r's.

Chill out mate, it was only a joke, dont have a humor failure on us..
what about a few small fence posts several feet apart with some decorative white plastic chain linked to each post...

No I wasn't going to plant them, just place them.
