Having trouble getting my skirting to stick. Because:
1. I've been told I shouldn't use nails, to avoid messing up damp course.
2. Walls aren't totally flat so difficult to get contact throughout entire length for glue to set.
3. Don't always have a large contact area to stick to due to gap between plaster and floor.
Any advice? Should I use nails anyway? What's the best adhesive to use? Normal wood glue takes an age to actually take hold...?
Thanks in advance for any tips...
