After taking a jet ski trip from Scotland to the Isle of man to visit his girlfriend

He has been jailed for breaching this Covid caper

It took him 4 and half hours to make the trip last Friday

The tax haven of the IoM is very far from drug free & neither is Scoatland.

there would be a noticeable risk of losing your life on an unaccompanied trip like that. Only needs one thing to go wrong.

You've got to admit, the guy has some bottle - the Irish sea can chop up big time and is full of shipping.
However, he had tried to enter the island several times before and was denied, apparently so like so many others these days he decided that the law didn't apply to him.
Man is almost covid free and everything is normal out there.
Serve him right.

it’s his life . maybe if he’d blacked up and taken 14 of his mates and a few small children he’d have been fine. on the face of it it sounds like he’s been jailed on behalf of everyone else who ever got caught doing basically nothing wrong during covid.

The problem is that if he had a problem, and if emergency services were needed, it puts them all at risk.

Yes, the jetski will probably be in saleable condition, and easier to find than your body.
