Hi All,
I'm replacing an existing broken Manrose XF100TP model of extractor fan, so I thought I would order exactly the same model to make sure the connections were identical. Specifically, the old fan I'm replacing has an external ceiling mounted pull chord, hence why I wanted to match the connectors exactly, to take the guesswork out of it.
Unfortunately I'm confused by some differences between the old XF100TP and the new XF100TP I have been sent:
Old model XF100TP:
- 3 connections on the connector block: 1 = Spare, 2 = Live In, 3 = Neutral In (but 'Spare' seems to be connected to something, maybe the external pull chord?)
- Has no internal pull chord.
New model XF100TP:
- 2 connections on the connector block: 1 = Live, 2 = Neutral
- Has an internal pull chord
Any ideas whether the new one can be connected up like-for-like, or is the newest incarnation of the XF100TP annoyingly not identical to the old one?
Thanks in advance,
S.
